Data You Give Us Directly
Information entered into a name, phone, or address search is sent to the third-party service that produces the results. The operators of Hemet Residents Directory do not keep a copy of those searches on the site’s own servers. If you send a message, the mailbox receives the contents and any contact details included in it so a reply can be made.
Data Collected by Hosting
Hosting systems may record ordinary technical logs such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review can help keep the pages working and show which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Technical data may be used to operate the service, find faults, measure traffic, and improve page content. Hemet Residents Directory does not sell a visitor list or create a profile of an individual visitor from the small amount of information described here.
Links to County and State Services
Pages link to Riverside ACR, Hemet city records, court access, voter services, California vital-record ordering, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. Each outside service has its own privacy notice and controls what happens after a visitor leaves these pages. Sponsored search results are supplied by a third party and are governed by that provider’s practices.
Who May Process the Data
Hosting and technical providers may process server logs while supporting the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above where those tools are active. Disclosure can also occur when valid legal process requires it. No broader disclosure is promised or intended.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection where available, and technical logs are retained only as long as the operating, security, measurement, or legal purpose requires. There are no visitor accounts here, so the service does not maintain a site password or personal profile for a reader.
Users Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent personal information, use the Contact page so the material can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Your California Data Rights
California’s Consumer Privacy Act, including Civil Code §§1798.100 et seq., may provide access, knowledge, correction, deletion, and sale-or-sharing opt-out rights, subject to its exceptions. The DELETE Act, Civil Code §§1798.99.80 et seq., created the California DROP platform for eligible California residents to make a verified deletion request to registered data brokers. Those rights concern information held by the relevant business or broker.
Because this service keeps little information, a request can usually be handled by checking the contact mailbox and applicable server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Hemet, Riverside County, California courts, ACR, or another custodian are outside this service’s control. The California Public Records Act, Government Code Division 10, §§7920.000 et seq., governs access to many existing government records, not deletion from this private reference.
Updates to This Policy
A revised version will be posted on this page when the privacy practice or legal notice changes. Continued use after publication of an update means the revised policy applies to later use. The date of the current version should be checked at the time a request is made.
